Dr. Liang, a passionate educator, approached us with the vision of creating an edutainment platform to teach Chinese to children in Australia. The goal was to make their native language learning fun and interactive for young Chinese children living in Australia, incorporating games, quizzes, and lessons into the platform. Dr. Liang also wanted parents to be able to monitor their child's progress and behavior, and the platform to be used by teachers to manage their students.

Our Approach

Our team began by understanding the unique needs of both children and parents in the context of learning Chinese. We decided to focus on creating a child-friendly UI that would be both simple and engaging for young learners. We incorporated interactive methods, such as games and quizzes, to keep children actively involved in the learning process.

To ensure parent involvement, we implemented a feature that allows parents to monitor their child's activities and track progress within the platform. This transparency aimed to strengthen the connection between parents and their child's education.

1. Interactive Quizzes and Lessons: We designed interactive quizzes and lessons to make the learning experience enjoyable and effective. The content was carefully curated to align with the Australian curriculum while maintaining cultural relevance.

Challenges & Solutions

The main challenge was to create a system that could effectively engage children. Striking the right balance between transparency and independence was crucial in gaining the trust of both children and parents.

The Dr.Liang edutainment platform was successfully launched, receiving positive feedback from both children and parents.
